In the framework of regional GREENSMARTMED activities, the Greek partners CERTH and Regional Development Fund of Western Macedonia (RDF) hosted today a working group meeting at the RDF premises addressed to local and regional representatives of public sector, members of material management organizations classified in the 5 manufacturing target areas of the project (machinery, textile, plastics, agri-food, mobility & batteries) as well as with clusters, related to these sectors.
The event aimed at being a constructive opportunity to encourage interaction between regional and local actors, as well as to identify potential synergies and new projects, but especially to establish working groups with participants from a variety of institutions.
Furthermore, it focused on providing information about the scope of the GREENSMARTMED project and its objectives, while the co-organizers referred to their own contribution to the project and how they will ultimately contribute to the successful transfer of its results.
Additionally, the meeting was strategical to inform the members of major stakeholders in the region of Western Macedonia about the content of GREENSMARTMED, in order to achieve the establishment of regional core groups, as well as the creation of synergies with related projects and initiatives.
