Workshop organised by the University of Bergamo, CUEIM and AFIL in collaboration with Exeo Lab and CONFIMI Industria Basilicata for the consolidation and dissemination of the project results.

Sustainability has become a strategic priority for European regions, as industries face increasing pressure to address climate challenges while remaining competitive. GREENSMARTMED promotes a collaborative approach to industrial transformation — connecting research institutions, companies, and local stakeholders — to support sustainable manufacturing practices across the Mediterranean.

After successfully applying its methodology in Italy, Spain, France, Greece, and Bulgaria, the project is now focused on transferring knowledge locally. In this context, this workshop in Basilicata offers a unique opportunity to prepare the ground. Engaging SMEs, discuss practical tools for greener production, and explore innovative approaches to circular economy challenges.

CHECK THE AGENDA

The event will bring together a diverse group of local manufacturing companies, representing different sectors and sizes, all interested in innovation, sustainability, and collaborative growth. Participants will benefit from an interactive session that encourages experience sharing and idea exchange, as well as a company visit to see sustainable practices in action. Networking opportunities will also help strengthen local industry connections.

By fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing, this workshop aims to support a resilient, innovative, and sustainable industrial ecosystem in Basilicata, transforming environmental challenges into tangible opportunities for growth.

Participation in the workshop is by invitation only.
