In a particularly productive season for GREENSMARTMED, the partnership’s commitment to disseminating the project’s message is stronger than ever, fostering the exchange of experiences and regional collaboration.
In this context, the project participated in the international conference “Connecting the Dots: Stakeholders in Dialogue for the Future”, celebrating the 30th anniversary of our partner, Stara Zagora Regional Economic Development Agency (SZ REDA). This was an important occasion to highlight the agency’s strategic role in promoting regional economic development in Bulgaria, strengthening SME competitiveness, and fostering connections between public authorities and businesses.

During the event, GREENSMARTMED gained additional visibility thanks to Agapi Teftiki (CERTH), who took part in a panel entitled “SMEs at the Centre of Change”. Her presentation contributed to the discussion on regional development, emphasizing the importance of businesses adopting sustainable and innovative practices, as well as creating networks and synergies between territories, institutions, and businesses across the Euro-Mediterranean area.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to raise international awareness of the project, bringing together institutions, experts, businesses, and representatives of European projects from across Europe. It also offered a valuable occasion to engage in dialogue with other European projects, exchanging experiences and exploring potential synergies. Key topics such as regional development, sustainability, innovation, and the role of SMEs in transitioning to more sustainable models were discussed.
