Last 21-23 February during the 7th International Exhibition of Verde.tec / Environmental Technologies Forum, the leading exhibition for environmental technologies in Greece, GREENSMARTMED project was a guest of the event “Circular Economy and Textiles: The Road to a Green Transition” organized by CERTH in the framework of the Interreg Euro-MED VERDEinMED project.
Following the already started coordination between GREENSMARTMED and VERDEinMED, as launched in December during the last Transnational event in Lyon, CERTH, as partner of both projects, took the occasion of this event focused on circular economy in the texile sector, to also present and promote GREENSMARTMED to a wider audience of both professionals and individuals from across Greece.
As leader of the ongoing pilot activities, CERTH focused on GREENSMARTMED metholodgy as innovative sustainable new solution for a greener future in the manufacturing sector, through the building of a resilient community, to help manufacturing SMEs in turning their challenges into business development opportunities.
The promotion of GREENSMARTMED project in the context of that leading environmental exhibition in Greece had a significant value since the event has confirmed for the 7th time its dynamics and influence in the national green market, allowing the project to get closer to key stakeholders interested in innovative applications and technologies, best practices and solutions for a more sustainable future.
